Monitors - the main data Monitors as, for example, the speedometer or the index of a reserve of fuel, are concentrated on a control panel. If any device failed, it is necessary to replace all block as it does not understand.
The block of the dashboard copes the microprocessor and has system of self-diagnostics. If in elements of system there are malfunctions, in memory of malfunctions of a monitor the corresponding codes register. These codes can be removed by means of the special BMW device. Besides, by means of the device the following functions can be adapted or corrected, for example: the index of a reserve of fuel in a tank, the index of consumption of fuel, the index of intervals of service, the counter of the passable distance.
