Removal and installation of the driveshaft

Two various executions of the driveshaft are established: the driveshaft, two-piece with the central bearing and the driveshaft having two central bearings and one additional hinge of equal angular speeds. Pay attention to distinction at removal.

 REMOVAL

Lifting operation and installations of the car on supports is connected with danger! Therefore before carrying out operation study Poddomkrachivaniye's Section and towage

1 Lift and install the car on supports. Remove system of release, address to the Section Removal and installation of system of release.

2 Turn off bolts of fastening and remove heat-shielding screens-1-and-2-from the bottom.

3 Turn off bolts of fastening and disconnect the elastic coupling from a check point (an arrow on an illustration). Hold thus the driveshaft a tape key from a rovorachivaniye.

4 Turn off bolts of fastening and disconnect the driveshaft from a reducer of the back bridge (an arrow on an illustration). Attention: To install the driveshaft in former situation mark paint the mutual provision of flanges of the driveshaft and a reducer.

5 Weaken on some turns a carving ring (the shooter on an illustration) on the sliding element by means of a big wrench. If such key available is not present, weaken carving a ring an alligator wrench.

- And - fastening of the central bearing do not weaken bolts yet.

6 Wring out a driveshaft flange a screw-driver from a reducer of the back bridge. Thus the driveshaft moves at the sliding element (the shooter on an illustration).

7 Weaken fastening bolts - And - the central bearing, address to an illustration.

Thus hold the driveshaft that it did not fall. Do not drop a shaft in hinges. In particular, at the hinge of equal angular speeds the shaft can crumple a rubber cover.

8 The driveshaft consisting of three parts: Similarly turn off the second carving ring at the central bearing. Wring out a forward flange of the driveshaft back, thus the driveshaft moves.
9 The driveshaft consisting of three parts: Turn off bolts of fastening of the second central bearing to the bottom.

If there are washers of bolts of fastening, they need to be put at assembly on former places.

10 incline the driveshaft at the central bearing A little down and take out from the aligning pin on a check point.

Protect the hinge of equal angular speeds of the driveshaft a cover or a plastic bag from pollution.


 INSTALLATION

The driveshaft is balanced and has to be replaced only in a set. Worn-out shaft are replaced.

In the presence of vibration and the noise going from the driveshaft it needs to be balanced on HUNDRED. Besides, it is necessary to find out, whether hinges are serviceable. There are HUNDRED which specialize on repair of driveshafts.

11 Replace the elastic coupling if it is deformed or has a time. For this purpose turn off fastening bolts (arrows on an illustration). Insert the new coupling so that shooters on a circle showed towards the corresponding levers of a flange.

12 Before installation visually check the aligning element-4 of driveshafts. Grease the aligning element with MOLYKOTE LONGTHERM 2 PLUS or OPTIMOL OLISTAMOLY 2 greasing. Replace the damaged element with HUNDRED.

13 Insert the driveshaft at first in front into the aligning element and fix bolts, without tightening.
14 Put on the driveshaft with the extended hinge a flange of a reducer of the back bridge.
15 Slightly tighten a carving ring at the sliding driveshaft element the moment of 10 N • m.
16 Evenly tighten nuts of fastening of the driveshaft to a reducer, the efforts given in Specifications. Apply the new self-stopped nuts.
17 Tighten the new self-stopped nuts the driveshaft to a check point flange. The moment of an inhaling depends on a class of durability of bolts which is beaten out on a head (address to Specifications).
18 Fix the central bearing to the bottom the moment of 20 N • m.
19 The driveshaft consisting of three parts: Fix the second central bearing on the bottom the moment of 20 N • m. A carving ring tighten the moment of 10 N • m.
20 Fix the heat-shielding screen of system of release. Install system of release, address to the Section Removal and installation of system of release.
