BMW 3 of the E46 series

1 Remove facing of a trunk lid, address to the Section Removal and installation of facing of a trunk lid.
2 Remove the holder of a lamp of the right back lamp, address to the Section Replacement of Glow Lamps of External Lighting.
3 Disconnect a cable of a back lamp at a lock cylinder cover.

4 Unscrew two screws of fastening of a cover of the cylinder of the lock. Delay a cover on the right side from a leaf and disconnect it from an opening. Take out a cover sideways from directing and remove. 5 Rasstykuyte socket-1-.

6 Remove blocking-2-and disconnect draft-3-at the lock cylinder.
7 Turn out screws-5-.
8 Turn the lock cylinder to the right so that the directing stood in cuts of a leaf, then remove the cylinder down.
9 I will corrode Rasstykuyte at the trunk lid lock.

10 Unscrew screws of fastening of the lock in a trunk lid and take out through an opening in a leaf.

11 Disconnect blocking of draft of the drive, disconnect draft and take out the lock.

12 Connect draft to the lock, connect blocking.
13 Insert the lock and fix it screws. Join the socket.
14 Insert the lock cylinder into cuts of a body, turn on the left and fix. If the cylinder of the lock is replaced, replace the rubber plug in a trunk lid.

Check operation of the lock and cylinder at an open trunk lid.

15 Connect the lock to draft of the drive, restore blocking.
16 Join the socket.
17 Enter a lock cylinder cover in directing at the left, press on the right and latch. Fix a cover two screws.
18 Connect electric wires of a back lamp at a cover.
19 Establish the holder of a lamp of a back lamp, address to the Section Replacement of Glow Lamps of External Lighting.
20 Establish facing of a trunk lid, address to the Section Removal and installation of facing of a trunk lid.
