| Do not press a brake pedal after removal of brake shoes. Otherwise the brake will be squeezed out from the case. |
1 Check the sensor of wear of blocks. If isolation of a contact plate is wiped, damaged isolation of a cable or the plastic element is worn-out, the sensor of wear should be replaced.

2 Clear a brush from light metal or wipe the rag moistened in alcohol, the directing surface or a seat of blocks in mine of the case. Do not apply for this purpose the solvents containing mineral oils, or the tool with sharp edges. If blocks are applied again, they need to be cleared also. |
3 Before installation of blocks into place it is necessary to check fingers a brake disk for existence risok. At detection of damages the disk should be replaced.
4 Measure thickness of a brake disk, address to the Section Measurement of Thickness of a Brake Disk.

5 Check a dustproof cap at the brake piston-2-for existence of cracks. In the presence of cracks immediately replace a cap as hit of pollution quickly conducts to loss of tightness of a support. For this purpose it is necessary to remove and sort a support (work HUNDRED). |
6 Press the piston by means of the corresponding adaptation. It can be made whetstone of solid wood (the hammer handle). Thus pay special attention to that the piston did not warp also a piston surface, and also a dustproof cap were not damaged.
| At cave-in of pistons from brake cylinders in the tank of brake fluid level rises. Watch level, if necessary suck away liquid.
It is necessary to apply a special or plastic bottle which is intended only for this purpose to suction of brake fluid! Do not apply for this purpose bottles to drinking water! Brake fluid is poisonous and it it is impossible by no means, to suck away a mouth through a hose. Use for this purpose the special device. After replacement of brake shoes liquid level in the tank should not be higher than a mark the MOVE as when heating liquid extends. The following brake fluid flows down the main brake cylinder, damages a paint and varnish covering and leads to corrosion.
At big wear of brake shoes it is necessary to check ease of a piston stroke. For this purpose insert wooden whetstone into a support and ask the assistant to press a brake pedal slowly. The brake piston has to enter and leave easily. For carrying out check all other supports have to be inserted on the places. Watch that the piston completely did not leave. If the piston stroke heavy, a support is subject to repair (work HUNDRED).
Cover adjacent surfaces of a support with paste against squeal of brakes.
For an exception of squeal of disk brakes in use "Never Seez Compound" need to cover some places of a support with a thin layer of special paste, for example.
Paste should not get on dustproof cuffs, surfaces of friction of brake shoes or a brake disk at all. If necessary at once wipe paste alcohol, replace a dustproof cuff with the new. Do not cover the Podkladny plate of a brake shoe with paste. |
7 Grease with a thin layer of paste against squeal an adjacent surface of the brake piston to a brake shoe.

8 Clear adjacent surfaces of-1-and-2-T-shaped heads of a brake shoe at a support and cover with a thin layer of paste against squeal of brakes. |

9 Clear an adjacent surface-3 supports and cover with a thin layer of paste against squeal of brakes in the places shaded on an illustration. |
|
10 Clear a bracket at the directing T-shaped heads (an arrow on an illustration) and apply a thin film of paste against squeal of brakes in the places shaded on an illustration. |
|
11 Insert a brake shoe with a spring into the piston. |
|
12 Insert into a support an external block-9-and put a support on the directing. Watch that blocks were cleared. |
|
13 Check visually two bolts of fastening of a support, if necessary clear a bracket of pollution. If it is necessary, pass a carving in a bracket a tap. The bolts having a rust or damages of a carving, replace. Fix bolts a face key on 7 mm the moment of 30 N • m.
| Only clear bolts, it is not necessary to grease them. |

14 Put into place protective caps of bolts of fastening.

15 Join the socket of the sensor of the index of wear of a brake shoe on the left side of the car. The wire has to pass in an union cover loop for removal of air. |

16 Establish a bracket on a support. |
17 Establish into place a wheel so that the markings put at removal coincided. Previously grease with a thin layer of bearing greasing a wheel disk seat on a nave. Do not grease bolts of fastening of a wheel. Replace rusty bolts with the new. Fix a wheel bolts. Lower the car on wheels and tighten bolts cross-wise the moment of 100 N • m.
| In a standing position press strongly several times a brake pedal so that resistance was felt. Thus, brake shoes will lie down to a brake disk and will reach the working position |
18 Check brake fluid in the tank, if necessary add it to a mark the MOVE.
| — Whether brake hoses are fixed? — Whether the brake hose is fixed in the holder? — Whether unions for removal of air are tightened? — Whether enough brake fluid is filled in? — On the working engine check tightness. For this purpose press a brake pedal by effort of 200 - 300 N (20 – 30 kg) during 10 pages. The pedal should not weaken. Check all accessions for tightness.
Carefully let's be earned extra to new brake shoes. For this purpose several times slow down the car from speed 80 to 40 km/h slightly pressing a pedal. Between braking let's be cooled to a brake.
Brake disks in some regions have to be utilized as special material. Local authorities inform drivers on places of possible utilization. |
