Replacement of a forward brake hose

Do not allow contact of brake hoses with oil or gasoline, do not coat or means for protection of the bottom of the car.


 REMOVAL

1 Mark paint the provision of forward wheels concerning a nave. It will allow to establish at assembly the balanced wheel in its former situation. Weaken bolts of fastening of a wheel at the car standing on the earth. Lift forward part of the car,
2 Press a pedal of a brake and keep it in such situation. For this purpose it is possible to insert wooden whetstone between a seat and a pedal. For this purpose displace a seat back and then again forward. Thus, possibility of an effluence of brake fluid is excluded from the tank after a detachment of hoses and hit in system of air.

3 Disconnect the brake pipeline-1-, having turned off a cap nut-2-from a brake hose. Thus hold a brake hose-4-for the planes or for a hexagon-3-to exclude a provorachivaniye of a connecting element in a square.

Thus a quantity of brake fluid can flow out. Collect liquid in the bottle intended only for this purpose.

4 Disconnect a brake hose from a support.


 INSTALLATION

5 Fix a brake hose at a support.
6 Establish forward wheels directly.
7 Fix a brake hose in the holder and connect the brake pipeline a cap nut. Thus hold a brake hose for the planes or a hexagon to exclude rotation of a connecting element in a square. Moment of an inhaling of 18 N • m.
8 Establish forward wheels so that the markings put at removal coincided. Previously grease with a thin layer bearing greasing a landing belt of a disk of a wheel on a nave. Do not grease bolts of fastening of a wheel. Replace rusty bolts. Fix wheels bolts.
9 After installation at the unloaded wheel check (the car is raised), whether the hose follows all movements of a wheel at its turn and whether it touches adjacent elements of a design.
10 Lower the car on wheels and tighten fastening bolts cross-wise the moment of 100 N • m.
11 Turn a steering wheel to the right and to the left against the stop and check on the car standing on wheels, whether the hose follows all movements of a wheel, without touching adjacent elements of a design.
12 Remove air from brake system.

— Whether brake hoses are fixed?
— Whether the brake hose is fixed in the holder?
— Whether unions for removal of air are tightened?
— Whether enough brake fluid is filled in?
— On the working engine check tightness. For this purpose press a brake pedal by effort of 200 - 300 N (20 – 30 kg) during 10 pages. The pedal should not weaken. Check all accessions for tightness.

Brake fluid should not pour out or jump out with household waste at all. Local authorities inform drivers on places of its possible utilization.
