Removal and installation directing a forward brake

If the bracket of a brake and a support are disconnected only for removal of a brake disk, it is not necessary to disconnect a brake hose. Otherwise after installation it is necessary to delete air from brake system. Suspend a support on a wire to a suspension bracket so that the hose was not twisted and was not tense.


 REMOVAL

1 Mark paint the provision of the corresponding forward wheel concerning a nave. It will allow to establish at assembly the balanced wheel in its former situation. Weaken bolts of fastening of a wheel at the car standing on the earth. Lift forward part of the car, put it on supports and remove a forward wheel.
2 Slightly press a pedal of a brake and keep it in such situation. For this purpose it is possible to insert wooden whetstone between a seat and a pedal. For this purpose displace a seat back and then again forward. Thus, possibility of an effluence of brake fluid is excluded from the tank after a detachment of hoses and hit in system of air.

3 Disconnect the pipeline from the connecting coupling (an arrow on an illustration), differently it is impossible to disconnect a brake hose at a support.

A quantity of brake fluid can flow out. Bring together her in a bottle which has to be intended only for brake fluid.

4 Rasstykuyte the wear signaling device socket at the left support-1-. Thus do not pull for a cable.

5 Turn out bolts of fastening of-1 brackets of a brake and remove a bracket with a support and the inserted brake shoes.


 INSTALLATION

1 Measure thickness of a brake disk, address to the Section Measurement of Thickness of a Brake Disk.
2 Put into place a brake bracket with a support and the inserted blocks.

If the brake hose is attached, watch that it was not overwound or tense. Check freedom of movement of a brake hose at a full rearrangement of a steering wheel.

3 Fix a brake bracket slightly greased bolts the moment of 110 N • m.
4 Join the wear sensor socket on the left side of the car at a brake shoe. The wire has to pass in a loop of a cover of the union of removal of air
5 Establish car wheels directly. Establish a brake hose at the holder of connection and fix a hose a cap nut. Thus watch that the hose was not overwound. Check freedom of the course of a hose at a full turn of a steering wheel.
6 Remove air from brake system, address to the Section Removal of Air from brake system.
7 Establish into place forward wheels so that the markings put at removal coincided. Previously grease with a thin layer of bearing greasing a wheel disk seat on a nave. Do not grease bolts of fastening of a wheel. Replace rusty bolts with the new. Fix wheels bolts. Lower the car on wheels and tighten fastening bolts cross-wise the moment of 100 N • m.
8 Turn a steering wheel to the right and on the left against the stop and check, whether the brake hose follows all movements of a wheel at the car standing on wheels.

Several times strongly press a brake pedal in a standing position so that to feel resistance. Thus, brake shoes hold the working position at a brake disk.

9 Check the level of brake fluid in the tank, if necessary add liquid to a mark the MOVE.

— Whether brake hoses are fixed?
— Whether the brake hose is fixed in the holder?
— Whether unions for removal of air are tightened?
— Whether enough brake fluid is filled in?
— On the working engine check tightness. For this purpose press a brake pedal by effort of 200 - 300 N (20 – 30 kg) during 10 pages. The pedal should not weaken. Check all accessions for tightness.

Brake fluid should not pour out or jump out with household waste at all. Local authorities inform drivers on places of its possible utilization.
