1 Open a cowl/trunk lid and prop up them.

If the gas-filled emphasis is not removed, it cannot keep a cover in open situation.

2 Trunk lid: Remove sideways a lock washer-1-. Below by means of a screw-driver remove a spring bracket-2-a little, without removing it, and wring out a gas-filled emphasis from a spherical head. The emphasis is under loading.

3 Cowl: Disconnect an emphasis from above and from below from spherical support for what a screw-driver take spring brackets a little, without removing them.

The gas-filled emphasis is under loading.

5 Establish an emphasis by a screw-driver on a spherical support and completely enter a lock bracket in vents.
6 Trunk lid: Insert an emphasis from above over a pin and establish sideways a lock spring.

Utilization of a gas-filled emphasis

If the gas-filled emphasis is replaced, before its utilization it is necessary to remove gas from an old emphasis. For this purpose the emphasis needs to be clamped in a vice around X = 50 mm. The emphasis should be clamped in this place, otherwise there is a danger! Then it is necessary to saw through the cylinder in the first third of its total length, counting from a basic edge from a rod. To collect the pouring-out oil, the region of a cut needs to be closed a rag. Besides, during cutting it is necessary to use goggles.
